Which size is right for me?
The smaller the size the harder it is to feel the egg. General rule of thumb – women that gave birth and women after 50 will need to start with a larger egg. Otherwise size medium is your best bet. Small eggs are not for petite women, but for advanced practitioners that mastered control of their muscles and wish to advance their practice. Our eggs are medium size, 30*40 mm, which generally is the best size to start for most women.
How often should I wear the egg?
1.Although doing the kegel exercises will enhance your experience with the yoni egg, one can reap the benefits by simply wearing it! The egg is working its’ magic regardless! We would recommend to start with about 2 hours 3 times a week. It is generally fine to wear it for up to 12 hours, but as always, trust your intuition. It is a good idea to take it out after 12 hours to clean it and let your yoni rest.
2.However, if you find that you have trouble holding the egg in as you walk around then you should start with just sitting with the egg a few times a week for 10 or 15 minutes (or whatever amount of time you have) and focus on squeezing the egg and seeing if you can feel it. Over time your strength will increase so that you can walk around with it.
How should I clean my yoni egg?
1.Wash it twice in warm water with soap and air-dry. It is better to use natural organic non scented body soap for sensitive skin. You can wipe your egg with cotton gauze doused in vodka or other hard alcohol you have at hand (do not use rubbing alcohol). Wash it thoroughly under running water after you do this.
2.Another way of cleaning the egg is by boiling a pot of water, then removing the water from the stove. Let the water cool for a little while, you should be able to put a finger in it. Now you can set your egg in the water for 12-15 minutes. You can add a few drops of tea tree oil in the water if you wish.
